Nothing is charged until the trial ends. After that, ₦6,000 a month, billed monthly through Google Play or the App Store. No quarterly or yearly lump sum. Cancel any time from your phone.
Never a cut of your sales
Some apps and card readers take a percentage of every payment. When sales are small, a cut can cost less, and the table shows exactly where. But a cut grows as you grow. Venturi stays at ₦6,000 a month, whatever you sell, however you’re paid.

What not knowing costs
The carton you didn't know had run out
Two customers ask for a carton of noodles. You thought you had three; you have none. At ₦12,000 a carton, that's ₦24,000 walking to the next stall: four months of Venturi, gone in an afternoon.
The day you remembered wrong
You remember Saturday as a ₦150,000 day. Added up properly, it was ₦118,000. Restock as if you had the extra ₦32,000 and you're short by more than five months of Venturi.
Before you ask
Is there a free trial, and do you need my card for it?
Yes, there is a free trial before anything is charged. It runs through Google Play or the App Store, and they ask for a payment method before a trial starts. That is their rule, not ours.
Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Do I pay extra for each salesperson?
No. One subscription covers the whole shop: ₦6,000 a month, however many salespeople you add. Each of them needs their own Android phone or iPhone with Venturi installed.
How do I cancel?
The same way as any subscription on your phone. On Android: Play Store, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. No phone call, no form, no reason needed.
If I stop paying, what happens to my sales records?
You keep them. You can still open the app, read every sale and stock record, and export everything. You just can't record new sales until you subscribe again.

I've used a notebook for years. Why change now?
Because the notebook makes you do the work. You write every sale, you add up at closing, you count the shelf to know what's left, and you have to be in the shop to know any of it. With Venturi, your salesperson taps the item and the rest happens on its own: stock goes down, the day's total goes up, and you see it on your phone wherever you are.
How does my salesperson use it?
You add them from your phone, they install Venturi on theirs and sign in, and they're ready to sell. Selling is two taps: tap the item, then tap Checkout. If they can use WhatsApp, they can use Venturi.
Can I really see my sales when I'm not in the shop?
Yes. Every sale your salesperson records shows up on your phone as it happens, with your stock and today's total updated. You can be at the market buying goods, at home, or out of the country, and still know what your shop has sold.
Does it need internet or data?
You need data to set up, and for sales to reach your phone when you're away. But selling never stops because the network did. If the signal drops, your salesperson keeps selling, every sale is saved on their phone, and it's sent to you as soon as the connection comes back.
₦6,000 a month? That's not small. Why should I pay it?
It isn't small, and we won't pretend it is. It works out at about ₦200 a day, for your whole shop, every salesperson included. One carton you didn't notice had run out, or one busy day you remembered as better than it was, costs you more than a month of Venturi.
And it is the same every month. Venturi never takes a percentage of your sales, so the fee doesn't grow as your business does.
Why monthly? Why not one payment and done?
Because keeping your sales in step across phones, every day, is an ongoing service, not a one-off. The monthly fee pays for that, and for fixing and improving the app for the traders using it.
Will the price go up?
If it ever changes, you will hear it from us before it happens, and the app store tells you before you are charged a new amount. We won't raise it quietly.
Who else can see my sales figures?
Only you and the salespeople you add. Your sales are stored on our servers so they can travel from your salesperson's phone to yours. We don't sell your figures or share them with anyone.
On this page, the only details we keep are the phone number and email you give us, so we can tell you when Venturi is ready.
What happens if I change my phone, or it gets stolen?
Your records aren't trapped on the old phone. Sign in on the new one and your stock and sales are there. Your subscription follows your Google or Apple account, so you won't pay twice.
What if a phone dies in the middle of market day?
Nothing already recorded is lost. Every sale is saved the moment Checkout is tapped, not at the end of the day. Charge up, open Venturi, and it's all there.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Venturi is built for both Android and iPhone, and it is coming to Google Play and the App Store. You and your salespeople don't need the same kind of phone.
I have more than one shop. Can I use it for all of them?
Yes. Each shop is its own subscription, ₦6,000 a month, with all of that shop's salespeople included.
My English is not strong. Will my salesperson and I manage?
The app is in English for now. But most of what you look at is numbers and the names of your own goods, and you type those names however you call them: "Ata rodo", "Garri (paint)", "Indomie carton". The big buttons, the totals and the red and amber stock colours need no reading at all.
Does it print receipts or scan barcodes?
Not yet. Venturi records sales, tracks stock, adds up your takings and shows them to you wherever you are. It doesn't print receipts, scan barcodes or track customer credit today. We'd rather tell you that now than after you've paid.
When is it coming?
We haven't set a date, and we won't make one up. Join the waitlist and we'll send you one text message on the day Venturi is live in the stores.
A note from the founder
Every evening, in markets across this country, someone is bent over a notebook, adding up the day while everyone else is packing up. Some of the sharpest business minds we have still keep their records the way their parents did.
I built Venturi to give that time back to the business. To spotting what’s moving and stocking more of it. To opening the second shop, and trusting someone else to run it while you’re at the first.
